My First Lush Haul!

So lately I have become completely obsessed with LUSH. It is a little pricey but everything is mainly organic! I love the black containers that the products come in and good news. They recycle! If you take back 5 containers you get a free face mask! Any mask! Any size! How awesome is that?!

The 5 Products that I have above are (left to right) :

The Sandstone Soap:

Love: I love that it is soooo exfoliating! It has sand that helps with the exfoliating and citrus, coriander and gardenia oils to help brighten and tone the skin. I also love that you do not need to use a rag and can simply use the bar to wash your body. It makes me feel soo clean!

Cons: It is so super exfoliating that you have to be careful washing certain places!! It is a little rough. I wouldn't recommend it for super sensitive or on your face.

R & B

Love: I love that it makes my hair super soft, unfrizzy, superr hydrating and moisturizing and a little goes a looooong way!

I dont have any Cons thus far because its just a sample size. I used it as soon as I got out of the shower and it worked very well! My hair was not dry and it didn't look crazy! Since it was just the sample size, I was kind of iffy that I wouldn't really get to try the product out, but I was able to use it 2x.. so it shows that a little really does go a long way and I have thick hair!

Brazilliant Shampoo Bar

Love: I looove the smell & my boyfriend loves it as well! It is super easy to use!

Cons: I hate that once I am done using it and I put it back into the tin and I want to use it for next time it is supper sticky and really hard to get out & When I do get it out there is some sticking to the bottom of the tin.

Angels on Bare Skin:

Love: I love that it makes my skin feel so clean.

Cons: I am not really diggin the lavender smell and it is a little messy

I just bought this. I don't have to much to say, but I will def. keep you updated as I have heard that this product is a god sent!

lastly,

Oatifix:

Love: It is very moisturizing and I love the smell! It smells so yummy that I could seriously just go grab a spoon! I know Fatttttyyyy lol

Cons: feels greasy!

I would recommend for very dry skin or for winter.

Thattttt's all folks. Till next time. I hope you enjoyed this review.

Candy Poster For Him

Happy Valentine's Day!

Ahhh Love... .it can be kind it can be sweet torture. Over the years, I had always dreaded this day to a passion,  I wasn't pretty. I wasn't thin, and watching all the pretty skinny bitches get gifts like there was no tomorrow made me hate myself even more. Either way, I always came to school with a huge smile on my face, and a basket of lollipops and other goodies to spread the love to the other wonderful people who shared the same passion.

&

Then I met him.. I was 19 years young and our first date was amazing. We ate dinner at The Roof in Salt Lake City. We shared a romantic meal overlooking the temple inside The John Smith Memorial Building, and after went on a horse ride carriage.

I had never been the one to receive such love, or to even have someone give me that much attention. I mean our first date. I swear it could have been a movie, and it was happening to me! Yes...me!

and he has been the sweetest ever since!!

I love this man.

3 years on February 7, 2015..... and it feels as if it were yesterday.

So, This my friends was one of my gifts to him for Valentine's Day.

As you know I am always looking for creative d.i.y ideas. This is a great easy idea that you can use for any occasion and it is fairly inexpensive. I used a black marker and a pink highlighter. Please feel free to use whichever colors you would like to. Let your creative juices flow!

And... if you would like to....make it a little less sloppy then mine lol. I was rushed but I feel as it still came out great!

I did have fun trying to find all of the candies needed for this project. I felt as if I was in Guy Fieri's Kitchen Games where at the end of the show they have like 2 minutes to find 20 items and if they accomplish it they win 20 grand! I wish I had won 20 grand but the look of happiness on my babe's face is priceless! (:

This project is pretty self explanatory.

You will need:

A poaster board
Markers
and the candy showed above.

Have fun but remember this day isn't only for your boo thang... it is for all your loved ones... your friends, your family.. your pets...

Thank you so much for reading this! (:

Good Future Hot Pot Salt Lake City, UT

It was a Friday night and my boyfriend and I were craving some Chinese food. We asked Siri for Chinese restaurants near us and up popped Good Future.

Now Good Future, used to be a dance hall, my boyfriend was a little hesitant but I told him since there were multiple cars in the parking lot. It might be good.

We walked into Good Future and saw that half of the restaurant was empty and the other side was consistent of about 6-10 tables. It looked a little iffy since it looked so empty, but we understood that it was a brand new restaurant and that might have been the reason why it was so empty. (To this day, it still looks the same and it has been more than 5 months)

I have never had hot pot before, I had never even tried Pho before. But I love broths. They have an all you can eat Hot Pot for $15/per person.  They have about 4 different broth types,

The above picture consists of half hot & spicy broth and bone broth

The all you can eat hot pot also has a buffet table that has includes a great variety of different uncooked ingredients such as seafood, meat, noodles and veggies!

Once you pick out the ingredients you would like, you can put them into your hot pot, and wait for them to cook. They actually cook pretty quickly!

&

It is supppper yummy!

We have been back to Good Future multiple times! We are sooo glad to have found this place, and to think we weren't even going to go in!

The customer service is also great.

and No, they do not only have hot pot, they have other yummy dishes as well!

Please Comment below and let me know how you feel about hot pots!  (:

Hawaiian Ahi Poke Recipe

I have never been the one to cook fish. I mean, I hardly eat fish, but my boyfriend loves it. They say if you love sushi and if you love ceviche then you'll definitely love Ahi Poke!

Preparation time: 10 minutes maybe even less!

Ingredients:

2 Ahi Tuna steaks 10 oz
1 Salmon Steak 6 oz
3 Tablespoons- Soy Sauce
1 Tablespoon-Sesame Seeds
1 Teaspoon-Sesame Oil
1 Teaspoon-Chili Garlic
1/2 cup chopped Green Onion

White Rice
1 cup rice, 2 cups water let boil then cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until tender.

So, this Recipe usually calls for 1lb of tuna, but I wanted to use salmon as well.

So combined tuna and salmon weight is 1lb

The salmon and tuna need to be cut into 1/2 inch cubes,

put into a large bowl and add the rest of the ingredients and gently toss together.

Eat immediately or cover and eat later (:

Enjoy!

Blame It On the Alcohol!

How creative! Right?! This Came out Awesome!

My Boyfriend and I walked into a Ream's (local drugstore I did not know existed either) and saw a small watermelon and since we are fans of jello shots, an idea popped into our heads. Why not make Watermelon Jello Vodka?!

Ingredients:

1 Watermelon
2 cups Vodka
2 packets Red Jello
1 packet Gelatin

We cut the Watermelon in Half took out the watermelon and ate it of course!

made the jello as you normally would follow the instructions on the packet (except your mixing 2 packets so times everything by 2) and after that is done add the gelatin packet, which is suppose to make the jello harder

and after added about 2 cups of vodka and then poured half into half of the watermelon and vise versa.

after the two halves of the watermelon have been filled put in the refrigerator over night.

and the next day cut into wedge slices!

Also as you see in the above picture they were not full all the way, so the next day when its ready you can cut the above rim if you would like.

Enjoy!

Red E.L.F. Matte Lip Color

Hi Loves!

WOwza! It has been an Eternity since I have posted! I know that I am pretty much just writing for myself...sad I know! I need to get my blog more out there! Either way I'm having fun. lol

I've never been much of a lipstick person, but I am a grown up. So I decided to give it a try.

I bought this at Walmart, along with other E.L.F products, yes I went a little crazy... but that's okay! My favorite though is this Red E.L.F Matte Lip Color. It was only $3.00! All of their products range from $1 to $3.00 I am pretttty sure nothing is above $4.00. Supppper affordable and great quality!!

I mean look at these luscious lips!!! How awesome do they look?! This lip color is actually realllly Red! Which I love! and I can also use it as a lip pencil. It is also not as matte so its easy to apply.

The downside though is that it isn't as long lasting as I would of wanted it to be.

Thanks for reading and Comment below! (:

No Bake Reeses Fudge Bars!

If you have a real sweet tooth for chocolate and a addiction to Reese's this is definitely for you!! I had a dessert pot luck for work and of course I went to Pinterest for ideas. I was kind of hesitant about this, I didn't know how hard it would be to make this but to my surprise it was pleasantly easy!!!

Ingredients:
22 Individual (uncovered) Reese's cups
3 cups chocolate chips
&
1(14 oz) can of condensed milk

just 3 ingredients you say?? why yes!!! told ya super eazzzaaay!

Now for the Directions:

Line a 9x9"pan with foil & spray with cooking spray.. (I didn't have cooking spray so i took a napkin dabbed it in oil and spread it around my pan) Place the peanut butter cups in an even layer on the bottom of the pan (you should use 16 on the bottom)

Then Place chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk in a medium saucepan over low heat stir until chips and milk are melted together.
Once everything melted together, spread evenly over peanut butter cups in prepared pan. Immediately sprinkle with crumbled Reese's, pressing them lightly into the fudge.

Cool until Firm. Cut into squares & serve. Enjoy(:

Chicken Pillows!

Thanks to Pinterest I have now found another amazing delish recipe!! Chicken Pillows are super easy to make and my boyfriend’s family totally loves it!! Points for me! (; lol

Ingredients:
1 (8 oz) can Crescent rolls
8 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup butter
2-3 cups cooked and shredded chicken
1 egg
1 sleeve Saltine crackers (crushed)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/4 cup milk
2 spoons full sour cream
1/2 cup shredded cheese
Now don't all these ingredients sound bomb to you!!! Do people still say that?? Bomb? ... That's the bomb!? hmmm idk, anyways...Here we go!!

First preheat your oven to 400 F

Soften 1/4 cup butter and 8oz. block of cream cheese. Then stir to a smooth consistency.
Add cooked shredded chicken to the bowl. (If you do not know how to cook chicken just
Defrost it, grab some chicken, thighs, legs, breast whatever you have, and put it in a pot to
boil, and wuala! After its done cooking, let it cool add some cold water if you don't want to
wait and just start shredding your chicken with your fingers)
Next,
Lay out the crescents on a cookie sheet. (Stretch the crescent out)
Place a couple spoon full of the creamy chicken mixture into the center of the crescent to fill it. Then fold the crescent around the mixture so that none of it is showing.
In a separate smaller bowl, put the egg and a little bit of water, maybe a couple Tablespoons worth and beat together. Dip the "pillow" into the blended egg. After dipping into the blended egg, proceed to dip it into the crushed saltine crackers and place on cookie sheet. Repeat for the remaining crescents.
Cook the pillows at 400 F for 20 minutes. Keep an eye on them your oven might cook them quicker.
For the sauce topping: Put can of cream of chicken and milk into a sauce pan. Add as much milk as you want to get it to the consistency you want i.e. thicker or runnier. When hot enough add 2 spoon full of sour cream and cheese to your liking.
There you go!! I hope you enjoy it!

A.C. Drive In - Burley, Idaho

Rate: 4 out of 5
Hate waiting!!

Please excuse the man in this picture, I don't know who he is, but of course i will give him the credit. (: It is the only picture i could find.

So, I used to go to a Small burger joint next to Burger's Etc. in Rupert which recently changed its name to Happy Kamper Cookery. I loved going there as a child, and my mom would always take me because there used to be a brown bag special, which consisted of 3 hamburgers for $1.00 imagine that!!! Ah-mazing!!! Of course they stopped doing it and I was sooo bummed!!

I never actually looked at this place as somewhere I'd like to eat.  I always pass it on my way to work but never pay much attention to it. One day something inside of me said what the hell, lets try it! I only remember coming here once and having onions rings which in my mind they were delish, although it was so long ago, i cant really remember.. any who enough about my long life story.

I ordered a Farmer Brown and to my surprise it tasted like the hamburgers from back in the day!! Dear Lord!!! How I felt like a child again!! The burgers are expensive but I would pay for the memories in a heart beat!! I really enjoy this place!!

Well except for the waiting in my car w/ out ac in the hot ass weather!!! It sucks dying of heat exhaustion while waiting for a well deserved burger!!

So stop by A.C. Drive inn you'll enjoy it! <3

Honey Walnut Shrimp!!! (minus Walnuts)

My favorite Honey Walnut Shrimp (minus Walnuts) recipe!!

Why minus Walnuts? Well... I'd probably prefer the nuts, but I am just not that patient and last time I added them I accidentally burned them lol, but this is just as good!!! Plus, it is super easy!!

Ingredients:
Shrimp ( I usually buy the super cheap $5 medium-large bags at Wally Word-Walmart)
3 egg whites
1/2 cup corn starch

Sauce:
3Tbs. Mayonnaise
3Tbs. Condensed Milk
2Tbs. Honey
1/2 squeezed lime juice

First before you start peeling your shrimp grab a deep frying pan, and put your oil in it, enough to where you can fry your shrimp, let that heat while you start peeling your shrimp, make sure if there are frozen and your thawing them in water dry them with a paper towel.

Next mix the egg whites with the cornstarch. I use a mixing bowl once that is mixed put around 10 shrimp at a time and mix them into the batter, one at a time put the battered shrimp in the frying pan until they are golden brown then take them out and place them onto a paper towel covered plate to let the oil out. Repeat the process until you have fried all of your shrimp.

once all of your shrimp are fried.. It's time for your sauce!!!

Mix the Mayo, Condensed Milk, Honey and Lime juice! Woouala!! done!! Taste it!! if it needs a little more lime juice or honey etc play with it a little until its to your liking (:

Now that we have our sauce go ahead and put your shrimp in, mix and you are done!

There you go! Honey walnut shrimp!! better than Panda Express!!

Now for a side, I just used plane white rice!! Read the directions on the bag and add a little soy sauce..

Enjoy!

Main Street Burger-Burley, Idaho

RATE: 4.5 OUT OF 5
"REASON BEING ITS SO GOOD, THAT IT IS ALWAYS SOOO BUSY, AND THE LINE IS LONG!!"

I was looking for a great burger place that wasn't Burger King, or Mcdonalds, and my boyfriends coworker suggested we tried Main Street Burger. I had not even heard of the place and I work right next to it!! We decided to try it out and it is delicious! They serve fresh hamburgers, nothing seems overly frozen and they have fresh cut fries. I would definately recommend, but not if you have to go back to work in the next 30 minutes, if so order ahead of time. They are only open on certain days and from 7am-3pm
